Annik has a PhD in Experimental Particle Physics from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium, after acquiring both a BA and MA in Physics from the same university. As part of her research career she was a member of CERN, the international research center for physics, in Switzerland. After working as a R&D engineer at Keysight Technologies, Annik moved to Colorado and now finds passion in assisting Tortuga in our intent to develop a more sustainable and efficient way of farming. Her research-oriented mindset allows Annik to develop efficient and intelligent algorithms in order to significantly increase product performance. Originally from Belgium where she had a semi-professional career in field hockey for several years, she now loves Colorado for the various all-year-round outdoor activities it has to offer.
