As a M/E Assembler at Tortuga, you’ll help us assemble and test our robotic systems. You’ll bring mechanical and electrical assembly experience in complex and dynamic hardware systems, and will work closely with our engineering team. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, flexible, and energized startup environment.
What you’ll do
Build, assemble, and test our robotic systems, including all mechanical and electrical components
Work closely with engineering team to provide design and manufacturing feedback
What we’re looking for
3+ years of experience working on assembly of robotics, automation, or similarly complex electro-mechanical assemblies; AS degree with mechatronics focus is a plus
Comfort assembling, modifying, and testing of PCBAs (mixed through-hole and SMT components)
Full comfort with mechanical and electrical shop tools (fasteners, presses, hand tools, oscilloscopes, etc)
Great communication skills and team attitude to work with engineering team
Ability to understand schematics and prints
